Former Super Eagles Skipper, Kanu Nwankwo has recovered the money stolen from him in Russia airport.
Ex Arsenal Ace man played in FIFA Legends Game to usher in Russia 2018 World Cup.
£8,250 ( about N4 million) was stolen from Kanu on his arrival at the airport.
Kanu Nwankwo confirmed the return of the cash, saying:
"Yes it’s true that the money was stolen from me, but I can confirm to you right now that I have my money with me and I’m grateful to the security agencies for helping to recover it back."
