Russia 2018 World Cup: Smile Program For Russians To Welcome Foreigners.

FIFA World Cup begins in couple of hours, and there is stereotype about Russians being unfriendly. According to BBC, Russians do not smile as much as other Europeans. There is a proverb in Russia which says "Laughing for no reason is a sign of stupidity".


Russian news agency Tass estimated foreign tourists to be over 1.5 million for this season FIFA world Cup. Staffs and workers are being taught hospitality, how to smile to foreigners and accommodating.

All these to clear the mindset of Russians being unfriendly.
